Buccaneer Location Data Competition - Win £100 shop of choice voucher, plus limited-edition Buccaneer “Klean Kanteen” Water Bottle!!

So here is something to do while we trust you are all practicing some social distancing whilst we dream about the next time we get to hit the water, trail, hill or crag.

The person who sends us the most updates and/or new spots with the most complete data wins!!

The spots have to be actual action sport destinations and the info has to be accurate!! – just saying…

What you need to do:

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram. (If you haven’t already)
Download the Buccaneer Sessions App on your phone, register as a user and set-up your profile, selecting the key activates you are into. (If you haven’t already) Make sure you have set up your full name and email address in your Buccaneer user account. We will reach out to the winner via email to arrange delivery of the prize etc.
Navigate to the map page in the App by pressing “EXPLORE MAP” on the front screen and look up the spots you know about. You can do this either by typing in to the “Location name search” or navigating the map. Once you have tapped on a spot you will be taken into the Location record. Check out the info, if it’s wrong or incomplete tap the “SUGGEST LOCATION UPDATE” button at the bottom of the page. Fill out as much info as you can and submit it to us. EASY!! MAKE SURE you tap the text in the form that says “Use current location” The form won’t submit with out this. Also don’t worry if the GPS location is wrong we will sort that out as part of the data moderation.
While you are on the location page, favorite the spot by tapping the star in the top right corner of the location page. (The star will turn yellow once it has been successfully tapped)

We are particularly interested in Location details: Is there parking? Is there a shop, café, pub? Is there any useful advice for people visiting?

If we don’t have the spot mapped, navigate to Settings and select “Suggest Location” at the bottom of the screen Fill out as much info as you can and submit it to us.

We will then review what you have sent us and if it adds up we will submit it to the app for live listing!! (Usually takes a couple of weeks)

The competition is live now and we will run it for 1 week from now. We will announce the winners on Thursday 2nd April
