What Buccaneer Does with GB SUP:

Much as GB SUP is a national race event series, where if competitors score well, they can qualify for international competitions. It is much more than that. Through 10 years of solid support of the SUP world it has built a vibrant and active membership to its events, in fact we would go further and say it is an active and supportive community. That community comprises of Challenge Tour participants, that are either new to the sport or just want to take part in an

event and experience a race circuit for just general fitness. Serious athletes looking to compete on the national and international SUP racing circuit. A youth initiative, investing in the next generation of SUP talent and key event sponsors. Some of the UK’s leading SUP stakeholders including BSUPA, Starboard, Black Project, Paddle Logger, Oscar Propulsion. Great work GB SUP.

Buccaneers partnership with GB SUP goes further than simply supporting their event comms and sponsor promotion. We provide an ongoing channel for the whole GB SUP community. Stakeholders can interact with the GB SUP profile at any time to ask questions and share stories and info on their SUP adventures.

In terms of Event support GB SUP promotes each event of their national series through the Buccaneer app. Competitors and spectators are able join the event and then can access key information, Where and When, live event schedule from Check-In times, Board wash and drop off, Race briefing. Fleet race times, tutorials from the pro’s and end of day event ceremony. A real time comms platform is also available to competitors and spectators during the event, to receive announcements as push notifications to their phone, Course maps, real-time schedule changes. Stakeholders can ask questions and the whole community can contribute and feedback with the benefit of their experience.
